Rules & Regulations

Welcome to our District!

A five member Board of Directors, elected by you, the User, to serve terms of two years, manages the District. Our District is divided into five sub-districts. One board member represents each sub-district. Members of the Board serve without pay or any special considerations. Directors may be re-elected for additional terms. A list of our current Board Members and other staff can be found at Board Members & Staff.

The Board of Directors meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. The meetings are held at the District office located at U.S. Highway 136 west of Unionville, next door to the Circle R Motel. These meetings are open to the public. If anyone has a concern they would like to bring before the Board of Directors, please call our office at (660) 947-3616 or write the District Clerk at 28421 US Hwy 136, Unionville, MO 63565 at least one week in advance of the meeting and request time on the agenda. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. thru 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday including the noon hour. The office is closed for most of the legal holidays observed by county and government offices.

The District is in compliance with the latest rules and regulations established by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources pertaining to the Safe Drinking Water Act and lead content in water. We take three water samples each month at random locations throughout the District. Midwest Environmental Services in Centerville, Iowa analyzes these for bacteriological content.
